Waiter : Good evening. Are you ready to order ?
Costumer 1 : Well, first can you tell me please what’s today soup ?

Costumer 1 : Okay. I’d like soup as a starter and then could I have fearless scallop for my main course is that with salad with vegetables please.
Waiter : Certainly, madam.
Costumer 2 : I’d like the same for my starter please and then I’d like spaghetti bolognaise for my main course with salad.
Waiter : And you, sir ?
Costumer 3 : Could I have a risotto as a starter please and then what is chicken Amalfi ?
Waiter : It’s our specialty. It’s chicken with a tomato and mushroom sauce.
Costumer 3 : That sounds good. I’d like that, please.
Waiter : Would you like something to drink ?
Costumer 3 : Marry, Anna. Would you like wine ?
Costumer 1 : I’d love a glass of red wine.
Waiter : The house wine ?
Costumer 1 : Yes. That’s fine, thanks.

Waiter : Hi, I’m Lori. I’m your waitress today. Can I get you anything to drink ?
Costumer 1 : Just water.
Waiter : Would you like bottled or regular ?
Costumer 1 : Regular.
Waiter : And, for you ?
Costumer 2 : I’ll have a diet soda.
Waiter : Great! I’ll be right back.
ORDERING
Waiter : Have you decided what you’d like ? Or do you need some more time ?
Costumer 2 : I’ll have the grilled chicken and a dinner salad.
Waiter : And what kind of dressing would you like ?
Costumer 2 : What kind do you have ?
Waiter : Italian, Blue cheese and French.
Costumer 2 : I’ll have the Italian. And can you serve that on the side ?
Waiter : Off course. And for you, sir ?
Costumer 1 : The peppered salmon. Is that very spicy ? I don’t like spicy. I’ll have the steak.
Waiter : And how would you like that cook ?
Costumer 1 : Medium please.
Waiter : Alright. So that’s chicken with salad, Italian dressing on the side and one steak medium. Thank you.
SERVING
Waiter : Be careful that’s hot. Can I get that for you ?
Costumer 2 : Yes, please.
Waiter : And is there anything else I can get you ?
Costumer 1 : May I get a steak knife ?
Waiter : Off course. I’ll get that right away.
Waiter : How was everything ?
Costumer 1 : Excellent!

Customer 1 : And can I have a bottle of mineral water?
Waiter : Still or sparkling?
Customer 1 : Sparkling, please.
Waiter : Okay, thank you very much.
Customer 1 : Do you eat out a lot when you’re in London?
Customer 2 : Yes, I do. My friends and I usually eat out on Saturday evening. I loved Italian food.
Customer 1 : Yes, me too.
Customer 2 : And what about you? What do you do at the weekend? Customer 1 : I play tennis every Saturday morning.
Customer 2 : With Phil?
Customer 1 : No. Phil doesn’t like tennis.
Customer 2 : Oh, right.
Customer 1 : And in the afternoon we often go to the Botanic Gardens. Do you know them?
Customer 2 : No. I don’t.
Customer 1 : Oh. They’re beautiful. Maybe you can go there next weekend.

Customer 1 : It’s okay, Phil. This is Shopie. The new teacher at school.

Customer: Excuse me, waiter. I’ve been waiting for quite some time, but no one has taken my order yet.
Waiter: I apologize for the inconvenience, sir. Let me take your order right away. What would you like to have?
Customer: Thank you. I’ll have the grilled fish with steamed vegetables, please.
Waiter: Certainly, sir. And how would you like your fish cooked?
Customer: I prefer it to be well-done, please.
Waiter: Noted. Would you like any sauce with that?
Customer: Yes, I’d like some lemon butter sauce on the side, please.
Waiter: Understood. And for your side dish?
Customer: I’ll go with mashed potatoes, please.
Waiter: Alright. Anything to drink with your meal?
Customer: I’ll have a glass of ice lemon tea, please.
Waiter: Perfect. Your order of grilled fish with steamed vegetables, well-done, with a side of mashed potatoes and lemon butter sauce, along with a glass of ice lemon tea, will be prepared promptly.
[Some time passes, but the order doesn’t arrive]
Customer: Excuse me, waiter. I’m sorry to bother you, but it’s been quite a while since I placed my order, and I still haven’t received anything.
Waiter: I apologize for the delay, sir. Let me check on your order right away.
[The waiter checks with the kitchen and returns]
Waiter: I’m terribly sorry for the inconvenience, sir. It seems there was a mix-up in the kitchen. Your order will be prioritized, and I’ll make sure it’s brought to your table as soon as possible.
Customer: Thank you for your attention to this matter. I appreciate it.
Waiter: Of course, sir. Once again, I apologize for the delay. Your meal will be with you shortly.
