Tanah Lot
According to Balinese people, Tanah Lot Temple was built by a brahman named DanghyangNiratha who had wandered from Java Island. He succeeded in strengthening the belief of the majority of Balinese people about the teachings of Hinduism in the 16th century. However, when he was on a mission, BendesaBeraban felt jealous and wanted to expel DanghyangNiratha from his meditation place.Because he was kicked out, DanghyangNiratha had time to issue his magic to move a large stone. So, the Tanah Lot Temple is believed to have been created from the spiritual power of DanghyangNiratha, who moved a large boulder to the middle of the beach and became his place of meditation. After the stones were successfully removed, a temple was built and guarded by the temple guard made of DanghyangNiratha’sceledangpoleng. Then the shawl was transformed into a sea horse which is commonly called lipipoleng (black and white snake).
The snake is believed to be the guardian of the temple that keeps people away from the threat of crime and damage. He said that if there was a natural disaster or disaster, the snake would be used as a sign through the king or queen of the red sea snake that appeared. He said, you can ask for youthful water in the western part of Tanah Lot Temple. The last myth is that if an unmarried couple visits Tanah Lot Temple, their relationship will not last long. That’s why many couples are afraid to visit there. The place to enjoy the sunset. Although stories about the history and myths of Tanah Lot Temple will continue to circulate in our ears, in essence, Tanah Lot comes from the word ‘land’ which means land and ‘lot’ which means sea. Maldives Beach
You’ve seen photos of the Maldives before: picture-perfect private villas suspended over striking blue waters, alabaster white sand beaches and spectacular sunsets dipping into the horizon. The scenic beauty of the Maldives is something to behold, something you can’t quite understand until you’re there in person. The island nation of the Maldives is popular with honeymooners looking for seclusion and adventurers looking to explore the depths of the sea on a scuba diving and snorkeling excursion. Travelers seeking relaxation can unwind at one of the island spas and all visitors should certainly spend a day exploring the Maldivian capital of Malé. The hotels in this region are also spectacular, ranging from underwater hotels to overwater private bungalows. However, getting to and staying in this tropical paradise requires patience (there are no direct flights from the United States) and plentiful cash. Located between the Arabian and Laccadive seas, roughly 500 miles southwest of Sri Lanka, the Maldives is about as isolated as you can get – and that’s just another one of its many allures. Many vacationers head to the Maldives solely to relax on the beach – and for good reason. The sugar white sand and striking blue water make for the perfect beach vacation backdrop.
There are public beaches on a handful of Maldivian islands, though visitors must be covered as wearing revealing clothing is illegal. A very few “bikini beaches” (on Rasdhoo and Maafushi) allow sun-seekers to wear typical bathing suits. However, travelers recommend sticking to the beaches on or near your island. The best time to visit the Maldives is from November to April. The island nation is warm and sunny year-round, but consists of a dry season and a wet, rainy season. There are pros and cons to visiting in each season. Travelers will experience the best weather in the Maldives between November and April, thanks to little precipitation and warm temperatures. Unfortunately, this is also the busiest time of year and, as such, the room rates at resorts are expensive. However, since each resort inhabits its own island, you won’t have to contend with throngs of crowds like you might during the high season in another destination. May to October is considered the rainy season, with the islands seeing between 5 and 10 inches of precipitation monthly and often strong winds. Visitors will likely find better deals for this time of year (though, the term “deal” is relative, since the Maldives is a pricey location year-round). This time of year is popular with surfers, though, because the area sees bigger waves and better swells for surfing during these months.
